We provide this basic outline of procedures as a reference to you so
that you may be certain of the thorough job we render.
1)
Power washing is done to all the surfaces to be painted. This
step is to remove any dirt, mildew, algae, etc from the surfaces. This
step usually takes place a few days prior to the prep work. We use a
water/bleach solution. This does not hurt any shrubs, plants, trees,
etc. The solution we use is mild enough, but strong enough to kill any
mold that may be present.
2)
Washing is a major step in ensuring the adhesion of the next product to be
applied. It's also helpfully in maintaining the lasting finishing of a
painted home. Mold and mildew will break down the paints if they are
not removed.
